The practical advice

If the client's goal is simply to live here on top of their own business — the work visa from their own company closes the need with NO capital threshold. Investor routes are for people who specifically want the long status and can lock 1–2 million. A cheaper «short investor visa» does not exist anymore.

🔴 The corporate-owner trap

If the company is owned by ANOTHER COMPANY (a holding), the person is not a «partner» — investor visas are unavailable in principle; only the work-visa path remains. Flag this at Division 1 intake when a holding structure appears.
